"Applicant" includes a person applying for maintenance or in whose favour a maintenance order has been made. "Approved person or Organisation" means a person or an organisation in whose care the elderly Applicant resides, and has been approved by the Minister in writing to apply for maintenance on behalf of the elderly. "Commissioner" means the Commissioner for the Maintenance of Parents and includes a Deputy Commissioner and an Assistant Commissioner for the Maintenance of Parents. "Respondent" includes a person against whom a maintenance application or order has been made.
